The fourth special promotion meeting for the deepening reform and enhancement of state-owned enterprises in 2024 was held. Gou Ping, a member of the CPC Committee and vice-chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, introduced at the meeting that as of now, over 70% of the main tasks for the deepening reform and enhancement actions of local and central enterprises have been completed. Gou Ping proposed four "more" points for finding the entry point to optimize reform methods: more emphasis on system integration to further enhance the overall effectiveness of reform measures; more emphasis on problem orientation to lead the deepening reform by focusing on breakthroughs in key difficulties; more emphasis on grassroots exploration to fully stimulate the endogenous drive for grassroots reform; and more emphasis on ensuring implementation by innovating and optimizing the mechanisms for promoting and implementing reform.
