At today's press conference held by the State Council Information Office, Vice Minister of Transportation Li Yang stated that the Ministry of Transportation will continue to urge and guide various regions to continuously optimize the layout of charging facilities along highways, establish and improve the scheduling guarantee mechanism for busy charging service areas, and strengthen the operation and maintenance of charging facilities and information dissemination. By the end of 2025, a charging infrastructure network along highways will be basically formed with "fixed facilities as the main body, mobile facilities as a supplement, full coverage of important nodes, good operation and maintenance services, and guaranteed travel for the public," better serving the convenience of public travel.
