Zheng Renjiao, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea, stated on Friday that despite facing external challenges, South Korea's exports are expected to achieve year-on-year growth for 15 consecutive months in December, and continue to maintain a trade surplus for 19 months in a row. Zheng Renjiao noted that before the Trump administration took office, uncertainties regarding exports increased both domestically and internationally, especially after the political turmoil in South Korea. He also remarked, "The government will maintain close communication with the private sector to minimize negative impacts while seeking new opportunities to provide comprehensive support for the economy and enterprises."
