The 13th session of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee recently reviewed the draft private economy promotion law in groups. Participants generally agreed that the draft defines effective practices in the guidelines, policies, and practices for promoting private economic development since the reform and opening up, especially in the new era, as a legal system, which is of great significance in consolidating the results of the reforms, responding to the concerns of all parties, and boosting confidence in development. As China's first **** relating specifically to the development of the private economy, the draft law on the promotion of the private economy is the first time that it incorporates “two unwavering” into law; the first time it incorporates the promotion of “two health” into law; and the first time it is clear in the law to promote the sustainable, healthy, and high-quality development of the private economy.
