Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Transport issued a notice to deploy continuous and in-depth work to build quality domestic waterway tourist passenger routes, further promote integrated travel development, and better meet the needs of the masses for better travel. The notice requires local transportation authorities to encourage and guide waterway tourist passenger transport operators within their jurisdiction to actively participate in the construction of boutique routes, learn from typical experiences and practices, strengthen the construction of waterway tourist passenger transport software and hardware, dig deeper into waterway tourism resources, improve the level of passenger travel facilitation, build an attractive waterway cultural tourism brand, resolutely adhere to the bottom line of passenger transport safety, raise the level of safe, green and intelligent development, and promote the high-quality development of waterway tourist passenger transport, further boost the development of related industries and promote the growth of domestic demand to help accelerate the construction of strong transportation countries and tourism countries.
