高盛:日元处于“甜蜜点” 将吸引外资购买日本股票

Goldman Sachs: The yen is at a "sweet spot" that will attract foreign investment to purchase Japanese Stocks.

Breakings ·  07:38

Bruce Kirk, Chief Japanese Stocks Strategist at Goldman Sachs, stated that the current level of the yen against the US dollar helps foreign investors to purchase Japanese Stocks. He believes that the risk of the exchange rate falling below the 160 mark is limited, as this could trigger some form of intervention from Japanese authorities. On Tuesday in the Tokyo market, the yen against the US dollar was around 157.13. This provides overseas Funds with a "sweet spot" to purchase Japanese Stocks at relatively low prices, thereby reducing the possibility of decline in the dollar value of these stocks in the future due to yen depreciation. Kirk thinks that if the yen appreciates, it would also present some opportunities to realize Forex gains.
