As M&A activity in Japan increases, JPMorgan has recruited Satoshi Shimada from Bank of America to lead its M&A team in Tokyo. A company spokesperson stated that Shimada recently joined JPMorgan as a Managing Director, responsible for the bank's M&A business in Japan. JPMorgan indicated that former Director Koichiro Doi will serve as Vice Chairman of the M&A business in Japan and focus on building relationships with key clients.
