In 2024, the theme of stability will run throughout the Capital Markets all year, from the "enhancing the inherent stability of the Capital Markets" in the government work report at the beginning of the year to the "stabilizing the real estate and stock markets" proposed at the end of the year in the central economic work conference. "Stability" is not only the key word for this year's Capital Markets but will also be the main theme for the next year. Tian Xuan, a member of the Academic Committee of Tsinghua University and director of Tsinghua University's National Financial Research Institute, stated that stabilizing the Capital Markets requires maintaining the stability and continuity of supportive policies on one hand. Macroeconomic policies can provide reasonable and sufficient liquidity, and innovative financial instruments can address abnormal market fluctuations; on the other hand, it is necessary to deepen the comprehensive reform of investment and financing in the Capital Markets.
