The Advanced Industrial Research Institute (GGII) predicts that in 2024, the annual sales volume of industrial robots in China will be about 0.3 million units, a year-on-year decline of approximately 5%. From the perspective of demand, the downstream application areas of industrial robots continue to show a differentiation trend. Among the three main pillars (Auto Parts, 3C, New energy), only the 3C electronics and Auto Parts industries show relatively strong growth, while the automotive complete vehicle and New energy industries are under significant pressure, especially in the New energy industry, where demand has significantly declined. Food and Metal Products industries are showing steady growth. The Semiconductors industry is benefiting from the release of industry demand, showing remarkable growth, with many wafer handling robot manufacturers benefiting from this. The Logistics and warehousing industry continues to be under pressure, with a downward trend in demand. Other general industries show few clear signs of recovery. GGII determines that the demand issue has become the core contradiction of the current Industry Chain. From the enterprise level, the differentiation between domestic and foreign enterprises is intensifying; from the performance growth in the first three quarters, the performance growth of leading domestic enterprises is higher than that of foreign enterprises.
