Regarding the issues with the rural student nutrition program highlighted in the audit report released in June this year, the audit rectification report published on December 22 shows that by the end of September 2024, problems rectified related to funding in the special funds for the rural compulsory education student nutrition improvement plan amounted to 4.039 billion yuan, with 248 institutional improvements and sanctions imposed on 1,200 individuals. Meanwhile, the same day's published audit rectification report also indicated that by the end of September this year, for issues discovered during the 2023 audit, relevant localities, departments, and units overall rectified problems involving more than 538 billion yuan, established and improved over 1,300 regulatory systems, and held more than 2,800 individuals accountable. The overall progress in rectifying significant issues is smooth, addressing certain systemic and institutional problems that hinder high-quality development and economic and social stability.
