On December 21 local time, jurors from the USA Delaware federal district court ruled that Qualcomm did not violate the terms of the agreement. Qualcomm acquired Nuvia for 1.4 billion USD in 2021 and obtained Arm chip products. Arm claimed that Qualcomm used Arm's technology in its chips but did not pay a higher licensing fee, violating the chip technology license. The court dismissed Arm's lawsuit request but did not reach a consensus on whether Nuvia violated the license. The court stated that this issue could be reviewed again in the future.
