The "Dou Bao" AI large model released by ByteDance has recently attracted considerable attention, and the newly launched visual understanding model will reduce its input price to the "cent era" (0.003 yuan per 1,000 tokens). Tianfeng's analysis suggests that through the "Dou Bao" visual understanding model, users can simultaneously input text and image-related questions, and the model can comprehensively understand and provide accurate answers, which will greatly simplify the application development process and unlock more valuable scenarios for large models. The visual understanding capability will significantly expand the scenario boundaries for large models, opening up a ceiling for their use cases.
