On the morning of December 20, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers organized a seminar in Beijing on the trend development research of the Autos industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the work kick-off meeting. Fu Bingfeng, the executive vice president and secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, emphasized that the next five to ten years are a critical period for building a modern powerful nation, and the Autos industry bears a demanding mission and task. He pointed out that the current Autos industry is facing tremendous challenges, with development still presenting multidimensional imbalances. The international development entering a new stage also faces many uncertainties and rising anti-globalization sentiments, making the planning work even more arduous. He stated that as we face this important milestone of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it is essential to study history deeply, look ahead to plan for the future, focus on conducting common industry forecasts, and collaboratively carry out preliminary research work for the planning.
