COSCO Shipping Holdings announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary COSCO SHP SG signed an "Equity Transfer Agreement" with COSCO Shipping Group on December 20, 2024, to acquire 12% equity of COSCO Shipping Supply Chain from COSCO Shipping Group for 2.143 billion yuan. After the completion of this Trade, COSCO SHP SG's equity holding in COSCO Shipping Supply Chain increases from 7% to 19%, becoming the second largest Shareholder of COSCO Shipping Supply Chain. This Trade constitutes a related party transaction, which has been reviewed and approved by the company's Board of Directors and does not require submission to the company's Shareholder meeting for approval. This Trade does not constitute a significant asset reorganization as defined by the "Measures for the Administration of Major Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies." The funding source is the own funds of COSCO SHP SG.
