The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today that the Financial Secretary has approved the appointment of Mr. Zhou Wenzheng as Assistant President (Financial Infrastructure) based on the recommendations of the Governing Committee under the Forex Fund Advisory Committee, effective December 30, 2024, succeeding Mr. Bao Keyun, who will be seconded to serve as President of the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited. After his appointment as Assistant President (Financial Infrastructure), Mr. Zhou Wenzheng will be responsible for the development of the financial market infrastructure of Hong Kong and ensuring its stable operation, as well as promoting the development of CNI Xiangmi Lake Fintech Index.
