According to the China Trade Relief Information Network, on December 19, the USA International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to initiate a 337 investigation on certain wireless Communications Equipment and components thereof (Investigation Code: 337-TA-1429). On November 18, 2024, the South Korean International Semiconductor Group Co., Ltd. of Seoul, South Korea filed a 337 investigation application with the USA ITC, claiming that the export to the USA, import in the USA, and sale in the USA of the product violated the USA Section 337 (infringing on US registered patents No. 10,575,262, 9,271,308, 10,111,227, 10,616,919), requesting the USA ITC to issue a limited exclusion order and a cease-and-desist order. The defendants listed include USA's Dell Technologies Inc. of Round Rock, TX, USA's Dell Products L.P. of Round Rock, TX, China's SiChuan Dell (Chengdu) Co. Ltd. of China, USA's HP, Inc. of Palo Alto, CA, USA's Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. of Spring, TX, China's Hong Kong Lenovo Group Limited of China, and USA's Lenovo (United States) Inc. of Morrisville, NC.
