According to the latest survey by TrendForce, the shipment volume of VR and MR head-mounted devices is expected to be around 9.6 million units in 2024, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year. The annual shipment situation reflects three major trends in the market: first, Low Stock Price products becoming mainstream; second, applications expanding from Entertainment to diverse productivity tools; third, OLEDoS becoming the preferred technology for high-end near-eye display products. These three trends will continue to influence the development of the Global VR and MR industry ecosystem in the coming years. TrendForce indicates that in 2024, the Meta Quest series products will maintain their leading position in the shipment of VR and MR devices with a share of 73%.
