According to informed sources, Contemporary Amperex Technology is considering an IPO in Hong Kong and may raise at least 5 billion USD, potentially becoming the largest listing in Hong Kong since the beginning of 2021. The sources, who requested anonymity due to the discussion of non-public information, stated that Contemporary Amperex Technology is communicating with potential advisors and may go public as early as the first half of 2025. If the funding scale reaches 5 billion USD, it could surpass Midea Group Co., Ltd's 4.6 billion USD listing in September, making it the largest Hong Kong stock issuance since Kuaishou Technology raised 6.2 billion USD at the beginning of 2021. The informed sources said that Contemporary Amperex Technology is still considering this and the plan may change.
