The China-Arab States Ministerial Meeting on Housing Construction and CityDev was held on the 17th in Algiers, the capital of Algeria. Ministers or ministerial representatives engaged in deep exchanges of practical experience and discussed cooperative development. After a detailed introduction of China's achievements and practices in housing construction and urban development, China's Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ni Hong, pointed out that the prospects for China-Arab cooperation in housing and urban construction are very broad. The joint ministerial meeting will promote continuous new achievements in cooperation in this field and contribute more to building a China-Arab community of shared future. He suggested using this meeting as a starting point to strengthen regular communication and coordination and deepen cooperation in various areas such as the construction of new cities, Engineering & Construction standards, engineering technology platforms, and talent exchange training. Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Maliki, stated that the challenges faced in the housing sector amid increasing population density and economic transformation require all parties to adopt innovative and sustainable strategies. "Through cooperation with China, there is confidence in developing innovative strategies and solutions to improve people's living standards." The meeting was attended by Algerian Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and City, Belaribi, and representatives from 22 Arab countries.
