A new study recently published in the British journal The Lancet Oncology shows that globally, the incidence of early-onset colorectal cancer has been on the rise over the past decade ending in 2017. Researchers believe that potential factors contributing to the rising incidence of colorectal cancer include the consumption of junk food, lack of exercise, and the obesity epidemic.
