On December 17, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the Beijing Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that from January to November, the value added of industries above the size of Beijing was calculated at comparable prices, up 7% year-on-year, up 0.5 percentage points from January to October. Among the key industries, computer, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing, and the automobile manufacturing industry grew by 22.3% and 17.4%, respectively, up 1.6 and 2.2 percentage points from January to October; the electricity and heat production and supply industry grew 7.2%, and the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry grew 1.4%. High-end industries led growth. The value added of large-scale high-tech manufacturing and strategic emerging industries increased by 9.8% and 14.5% respectively, while production of new energy vehicles, industrial robots, smartphones and wind turbine products increased 2.5 times, 38.8%, 18%, and 17.4%, respectively. Sales were generally stable. The sales output value of large-scale industries increased by 6.6%, of which export delivery value increased by 11.8%. The automobile manufacturing industry, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries grew relatively well.
