Following the launch of the first Shanghai-Singapore mutual listing ETF in December last year, there has been new progress on the Shanghai-Singapore mutual listing ETFs. On December 11, the first ETF product, Lion-China Merchants Emerging Asia Select Index ETF, jointly established by China Merchants Fund and Lian Fund Management (hereinafter referred to as "Lian Fund"), was listed on the SGX. This ETF will become the first symbol ETF for the external cooperation of China Merchants Fund. On the same day, China Merchants Fund submitted a registration application for the QDII product, China Merchants Lian Emerging Asia Select ETF, to the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). This ETF will be a fund connected to the "Lion-China Merchants Emerging Asia Select Index ETF" that is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with industry expectations for it to be listed as early as the first half of next year. In recent years, the CSRC has facilitated the ETF mutual connectivity across multiple markets, providing convenient tools for domestic and overseas investors to lay out both markets. Currently, there are more than ten mutual listing ETF products in A-shares. (Securities Times)
