The theme of the World Innovation Conference 2024 annual meeting (the eighth session) is “Technology Innovation and the Uncertain World Economy,” and the plenary session was held on the 15th in Guangzhou. This conference is hosted by the World Innovation Conference Organizing Committee, inviting representatives from the business and scientific communities of over one hundred countries and regions to attend the meeting. They gave keynote speeches on technology innovation, AI, the world economy, and international innovation cooperation, reaching a consensus to promote international innovation cooperation and support sustainable development for humanity, while providing suggestions for the construction of the South China Greater Bay Area Concept International Innovation Center. Additionally, several important achievements were announced during the conference, including an estimated signing amount of about 13.2 billion yuan for economic and trade investment cooperation. Economic and trade delegation successfully signed over 60 cooperation and intention agreements for the 2024-2025 annual cooperation with South China Greater Bay Area Concept enterprises and relevant departments, covering industrial investment, technological cooperation, import and export trade, etc. (China News Service)
