On December 15, various regions of Hainan Province are distributing offshore duty-free consumer vouchers. In the Xiuying District of Haikou City, there are seven denominations of vouchers being distributed through social platforms, totaling 5.6 million yuan; in the Qiongshan District of Haikou City, six denominations of duty-free vouchers are being issued, with a maximum discount of 650 yuan. Industry insiders indicate that with the peak tourism season approaching in Hainan, the government and duty-free enterprises hope to attract tourists into stores through promotions to boost annual performance. According to the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in the first 11 months of this year, Haikou City has issued a total of 51.0677 million yuan in consumer vouchers for the duty-free industry, directly stimulating consumption by 0.901 billion yuan.
