In November 2024, the "Several Opinions on Stimulating the Vitality of the Ice and Snow Economy with High-Quality Development of Ice and Snow Sports" will be released to promote the steady development of the ice and snow industry. In recent years, the prices of domestic ice and snow equipment have been 30%-50% lower than those of imported products, accelerating the industry's upgrade. Data shows that as of now, China has built 26 national-level ski tourism resorts. In the last snow season, the number of ice and snow tourists nationwide increased by 38% year-on-year, and income grew by 50%.
