Due to the widespread dissemination of these malicious rumors, an extremely adverse negative impact has been caused to the NIO brand. Recently, NIO has filed a civil lawsuit against Xie, Pei, and Chen, demanding that they publicly apologize for fabricating and spreading the related malicious rumors and compensate NIO for its economic losses.
