Since the beginning of this year, encouraged and guided by the regulatory policies, the scale of Increase Stake & Buy Back by A-share listed companies has repeatedly reached new highs. According to Statistics, from January 1 to December 13 this year, over a thousand important shareholders of A-share listed companies have significantly increased their stakes, with a total increase of 9.996 billion shares and a total investment of 82.715 billion yuan. Meanwhile, 2108 A-share listed companies have implemented buybacks, repurchasing a total of 20.826 billion shares, amounting to 162.19 billion yuan. According to Statistics, so far, the total amount of Increase Stake & Buy Back by A-share listed companies is 244.905 billion yuan, already exceeding last year's total of 213.971 billion yuan, setting a new high for Increase Stake & Buy Back totals since 2015.
