Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on the 13th that Ukrainian Energy facilities were once again subjected to large-scale missile and drone attacks from the Russian military that morning. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 13th that the Russian military had conducted large-scale strikes using long-range air-based and sea-based precision weapons and attack drones against the Energy infrastructure supporting the operations of the Ukrainian Military Industry. This was a response to Ukraine's use of the USA Army tactical missile system to attack the Russian military airport in Taganrog on the 11th. Zelensky said on Social Media that the Russian military fired 93 missiles, of which 81 were intercepted by Ukrainian air defense. Additionally, the Russian military also launched nearly 200 attack drones into Ukraine. Ukraine's largest private electrical utilities company, DTEK, issued a statement on the morning of the 13th saying that multiple thermal power plants under its administration suffered significant damage from large-scale airstrikes, with no casualties reported so far.
