The National Development and Reform Work Conference was held in Beijing on December 13 to study and deploy the key tasks for development and reform in 2025. The meeting emphasized the active and steady promotion of reaching carbon peak and Carbon Neutrality. Efforts in energy conservation and carbon reduction should be made, accelerating the establishment of a new mechanism for the comprehensive transformation from dual control of energy consumption to dual control of carbon emissions, promoting major projects for ecological protection and restoration, and working collaboratively to reduce carbon emissions, pollution, and promote green growth.
