The State Post Bureau announced the operational status of the postal Industry from January to November 2024. In November, the postal Industry delivered a volume of 18.78 billion items, showing a year-on-year increase of 13.2%. Among them, the express delivery volume reached 17.21 billion items, increasing by 14.9% year-on-year. In November, the postal Industry revenue totaled 165.92 billion yuan, up 11.2% from last year. Among this, express delivery revenue accounted for 142.99 billion yuan, growing by 12.8% year-on-year. From January to November, the cumulative volume of the postal Industry's delivered items reached 174.28 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 19.1%. Of this, the express delivery volume totaled 157.29 billion items (Note 1), marking a year-on-year growth of 21.4% (calculated based on comparable standards). From January to November, the cumulative volume of same-city express deliveries reached 14.16 billion items, growing by 15.7% year-on-year; the cumulative volume of cross-city express deliveries totaled 139.69 billion items, up 21.9% year-on-year; and the cumulative volume of international/Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan express deliveries was 3.44 billion items, with a year-on-year increase of 25.2%.
