According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to October 2024, the overall operation of China's photovoltaic industry is stable. Based on the data from the photovoltaic industry standard announcement and industry association estimates, the national production of photovoltaic polysilicon, silicon wafers, batteries, and modules increased by more than 20% year-on-year, and the export volume of photovoltaic batteries increased by over 40%. In the polysilicon segment, the national production from January to October was approximately 1.58 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 39.0%. In the silicon wafer segment, the national production was about 608GW, with an export volume of approximately 53.2GW. In the battery segment, the national production of crystalline silicon batteries was about 510GW, with an export volume of approximately 45.9GW. In the module segment, the national production of crystalline silicon modules was about 453GW, with an export volume of approximately 205.9GW.
