On December 12th, Yao'an County in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, issued a notice regarding the publication of the "Eleven Measures to Promote the Stable and Healthy Development of the Real Estate Market in Yao'an County." For purchasing newly constructed Commodity housing in the urban area of Yao'an County, financial subsidies for home purchasing funds will be provided according to family purchasing area and family member situation, including: 100 yuan per square meter for ordinary families, 150 yuan per square meter for families with two children, and 200 yuan per square meter for families with three or more children, with a maximum subsidy amount for a single unit not exceeding 0.03 million yuan. Families with two or three children must meet the national birth policy effective from January 1, 2016. The document also mentions encouraging the purchase of residential properties for health and tourism. Homebuyers with household registration outside Yao'an County who purchase newly constructed Commodity housing in the urban area of Yao'an County will enjoy the same treatment as local residents and will receive an extra discount of no less than 2% of the total purchase price for each Commodity from Real Estate companies, while actively seeking support from provincial and state policies to promote urban tourism.
