Analyst Melanie Debono from Institutions wrote in a report that the Swiss Franc central bank does not need to significantly lower borrowing costs any further. Previously, the Swiss Franc central bank unexpectedly cut interest rates by 50 basis points. Most Analysts had anticipated a more cautious rate cut of 25 basis points. Debono stated that there may be further easing after this, but only slightly. Institutions anticipate that the Swiss Franc central bank will cut rates again by 25 basis points in March next year.
