Sun Guangzhi, the Director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, stated that the "Implementation Opinions" focus on the ice and snow equipment industry. It aims to promote collaboration between industry, academia, and research to tackle key technological bottlenecks in the ice and snow sector. An ice and snow equipment industrial park will be built, advanced ice and snow equipment projects will be introduced, and the Industry Chain of ice and snow equipment in Jilin Province will be improved. By offering one-on-one guidance, enterprises specializing in ice and snow equipment will be cultivated. Plans are underway to establish large-scale maintenance companies for ski lifts, cable cars, and snow groomers, providing market-oriented services for ski resorts and ice rinks. The focus will also be on improving the guarantee system for elements of the ice and snow economy. Utilizing local Universities, ten top-notch programs in ice and snow sports and economy will be established, alongside ten modern industry colleges in the ice and snow field, developing a comprehensive training system for professionals in this area. Financial support will be increased, with an establishment of a 1 billion yuan investment guiding fund for the ice and snow industry and a consolidation of various special fiscal funds to support the ice and snow economy with an allocation of 0.5 billion yuan. A financial mechanism to support enterprises will be established to guide social capital in investing in ice and snow projects. Innovative industry support policies will be implemented to strengthen support for land use and other elements related to ice and snow projects.
