To optimize the processing of maternity allowances, a "fast application and immediate benefits" service has been launched. This means when maternity medical expenses (delivery or abortion) are settled at designated medical institutions in Chongqing, the medical insurance system will automatically obtain the relevant maternity information to calculate the maternity allowance, and the handling institution will verify and distribute the maternity allowance to the insured individual, who or their representative will not need to go to the medical insurance handling institution to provide relevant materials for offline maternity allowance application.
