China CITIC Bank Corporation announced that from December 9 to December 11, 2019, the bank issued perpetual capital Bonds with a scale of 40 billion yuan (hereinafter referred to as "the current Bonds"), and released the announcement titled "Announcement of China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited on the Completion of the Issuance of Perpetual Capital Bonds" on December 12, 2019. According to the relevant terms of the prospectus for the current Bonds, the current Bonds have a conditional redemption right for the issuer, which allows the issuer to redeem the current Bonds in whole or in part on the interest payment date of the fifth year of the current Bonds, specifically on December 11, 2024. As of the date of this announcement, with the approval of the National Financial Supervisory Administration, the bank has exercised the redemption rights and fully redeemed the current Bonds.
