On December 9, the China Securities Industry Association released the "Code of Ethics for Securities Practitioners" (hereinafter referred to as the "Manual"). As a tool for understanding the "Code of Ethics for Securities Practitioners" (hereinafter referred to as the "Ethical Guidelines"), the "Manual" helps practitioners deeply understand the spirit and specific requirements of the "Ethical Guidelines" and integrate them into daily work and conduct standards, urging practitioners to adhere to ethical norms. The construction of professional ethics for securities practitioners not only relates to the healthy development of the industry but also directly affects the interests of investors and market order. The "Manual" is mainly divided into two parts: Interpretation of the "Ethical Guidelines" and Practical Guidelines for Professional Ethics Construction. Among them, the interpretation of the "Ethical Guidelines" includes the necessity of strengthening professional ethics construction in the securities industry, the overall requirements of the "Ethical Guidelines", and the main content of the "Ethical Guidelines". The practical guidelines for professional ethics construction introduce the following seven aspects in combination with specific cases, including: honesty and trustworthiness, professional diligence; pursuing profits with righteousness, cherishing reputation; being prudent and steady, committed to the long term; maintaining integrity and innovation, benefiting the country and the people; complying with laws and regulations, maintaining integrity and self-discipline; respecting inclusiveness and common development; and the responsibilities of company managers in ethical construction.
