In cities below the third tier, the number of residents buying their first flight ticket through the platform has increased by 35%, reaching a new five-year high. From the perspective of age distribution, teenagers under 18 have become the main group purchasing their first flight ticket through the platform, with a year-on-year growth rate exceeding 50%. Students aged 19-23 and young people aged 24-33 are the main contributors to this growth. The platform's data also shows that in 2024, the number of travelers taking a flight abroad for the first time has increased by 220%, with the increase for residents of third-tier and below cities taking international flights for the first time reaching 2.5 times. The most popular destinations for first-time international travel are: Hong Kong, Bangkok in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
