On December 9, Academician Qiao Jie, the Executive Vice President of Peking University, and his delegation visited the headquarters of Sunflower Pharmaceutical Group for research and exchange. During the meeting, Tan Lei, the General Manager of the Strategic Management Department of Sunflower Pharmaceutical Group, reported in detail on the progress plan of the "Peking University Medicine - Sunflower Pharmaceutical Group Microbial Enzyme and Innovative Drugs Joint Laboratory" project. Sunflower Pharmaceutical Group will collaborate with the Peking University Medical Department, with both teams working closely together to jointly develop new drugs based on Traditional Chinese Medicine active substances and important disease targets that have been identified, promote the transformation of scientific research achievements, deepen the advantages in the biotechnology field, and help enhance research and innovation capabilities and technology development levels. During the talks, both parties also engaged in in-depth discussions on multiple topics.
