He stated, 'This is an emergency measure to protect the personal safety of members of the National Assembly and to ensure the proper functioning of the National Assembly.' Kim Minki mentioned that the National Assembly will 'thoroughly grasp the physical and other losses resulting from the declaration of martial law' and will fully investigate the illegal acts. Kim Minki also mentioned that according to the current information available, this incident also resulted in injuries to National Assembly staff, and an accurate count of the number of injuries and their severity is currently being compiled.
