Exxon Mobil announced that Dan Ammann, former President of General Motors, will take over its largest and most profitable business early next year. Ammann, who joined the company two years ago, was responsible for its clean energy department's low-carbon solutions. He will replace veteran Liam Mallon, who has worked at Exxon Mobil for 34 years, as the President of oil & gas extraction business, effective from February 1, 2025.
