Relevant officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that China will promote deep integration of technology and industrial innovation, accelerating the cultivation and development of the atomic-level manufacturing industry. Atomic-level manufacturing is considered the future direction of the manufacturing industry. Compared to traditional manufacturing technologies, atomic-level manufacturing is not only smaller in size but also has superior precision, regarded as the ultimate form of manufacturing technology. Relevant officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology indicated that China will accelerate the layout of new tracks in future industries such as atomic-level manufacturing, quantum technology, and clean hydrogen. Major national science and technology projects will be established for atomic-level manufacturing, and implementation opinions on the innovative development of atomic-level manufacturing will be introduced to improve the industrial ecosystem. Additionally, efforts will be made to unite the industry to promote leapfrog development of strategic industries such as high-end equipment, aviation, new materials, etc., through the atomic-level manufacturing industry.
