The 2024 Equipment Manufacturing Development Conference is being held in Chongqing. At the meeting, relevant officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that since the beginning of this year, China's equipment manufacturing industry has continued to expand its industrial scale, achieving significant results. According to statistics, in the first 10 months of this year, the value added of China's equipment manufacturing industry accounted for 34% of the value added of industrial enterprises above a designated size, maintaining above 30% for 20 consecutive months, and contributing 42.7% to industrial growth. Since the beginning of this year, innovative achievements in high-end equipment have emerged one after another, with a number of major equipment products being put into application.
