UBS Group is being tried in Paris for allegedly harassing two whistleblowers. The two had previously exposed the bank's assistance in tax evasion for French wealthy individuals. A French subsidiary of UBS Group is accused of ostracizing former auditor Nicolas Forissier and drastically cutting his bonus. Forissier was in the process of writing a report pointing out potential illegal activities. The bank is also accused of penalizing Stephanie Gibau, who helped authorities monitor clients during an event organized at the 2011 French Open.
