A report released by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute on December 2 shows that due to increased conflicts in certain regions and resulting instability, the total sales of weapons and military services by the 100 largest arms dealers globally reached 632 billion dollars in 2023, a 4.2% increase from the previous year. Among them, usa arms dealers experienced a sales increase of 2.5% in 2023, with their weapon sales still accounting for half of the world's total. 41 of the 100 largest arms dealers globally are usa arms dealers.
