The China Automobile Industry Association strongly opposes the US government's broad use of the national security concept, the abuse of export control measures, and the malicious blockade and suppression of China, which seriously violates the laws of the market economy and the principles of fair competition, disrupts the international economic and trade order, disturbs the stability of the global industry chain, and ultimately harms the interests of all countries. The arbitrary modification of control rules by the US government has severely affected the stable supply of American chip products, shaking the trust and confidence of the Chinese automotive industry in purchasing American chip products. American automotive chip products are no longer reliable or safe. To ensure the safety and stability of the automotive industry chain and supply chain, the association suggests that Chinese automotive companies carefully purchase American chips. The automotive industry is a highly globalized industry, and the Chinese automotive industry has always been rooted in global development. The Chinese automotive industry is in a rapid development stage, especially the rapid development of new energy vehicles is an important driving force for global green and low-carbon transformation, and it also provides a broad market space for the global automotive industry chain. We welcome global chip companies to strengthen various collaborations with Chinese automotive and chip companies, invest in China, co-develop, and share development opportunities.
