Xining Special Steel announced that a safety accident occurred at the company's steelmaking plant on December 2, 2024. Two employees died in an accident when carrying out maintenance work in the steelmaking workshop, due to an unexpected drop of the refining furnace cover. The company immediately conducted emergency on-site disposal and transported the injured employees for medical treatment. Currently, the causes of the accident and the casualties are still under further analysis and investigation. The company has not yet received the investigation report and related handling opinions issued by the safety supervisory department regarding this accident. Production operation has not been affected. The company will strengthen management to prevent such accidents from happening again, and will promptly fulfill its disclosure obligations.
