On December 2 local time, Honeywell announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with transportation equipment manufacturer Bombardier, which will collaborate in the fields of aviation electric appliances, engines, and satellite communication technology, with potential revenues from the agreement expected to reach up to 17 billion dollars. Additionally, all outstanding legacy lawsuits between the two companies have been resolved. Previously, Honeywell was embroiled in a dispute with Bombardier over engine pricing, where Bombardier accused Honeywell of selling engines to its competitors on more favorable terms. In a statement, Honeywell lowered its performance forecast for this fiscal year, expecting adjusted eps for the fourth quarter to be between 2.26 and 2.36 dollars, previously estimated to be between 2.73 and 2.83 dollars. Honeywell also lowered its 2024 sales forecast by 0.4 billion dollars to between 38.2 billion and 38.4 billion dollars, with the company's stock price dropping by 2% in after-hours trading in New York.
