From December 3rd to 4th, 2024, the World Traditional Medicine Congress will be held at the Beijing National Convention Center. There will be 3,585 participants, including 611 overseas representatives from 85 countries and regions. The theme of this congress is "Diversity, Inheritance, Innovation: Making Traditional Medicine Benefit the World." The congress will feature plenary sessions and parallel forums. During the plenary sessions, keynote speeches will be delivered, and there will be special discussions by health ministers, government forums, etc. The parallel forums will cover various topics including traditional medicine scientific research, integration of traditional medicine and modern medicine, among other fields.
