On December 2, it was learned that the U.S. Capitol Police arrested Michael Hopkins, a Democratic House staffer, on the morning of November 28 for allegedly attempting to bring ammunition into the Cannon House Office Building. It is reported that at around 8:45 a.m. on November 28, the Capitol Police discovered four magazines and eleven rounds of ammunition during a check of Hopkins' bag. Hopkins currently faces charges of illegal possession of ammunition, including one charge of possessing large-capacity magazines. (CCTV)
